MAIN CAPS Both street engines and race engines undergo extreme
loads during use that are not designed to be handled with
stock components. Whether these extra forces are from
an abnormal lean condition, detonation from oil during
combustion or an intended high horsepower application,
they can damage the block and can cause catastrophic results.
RPM’s billet main caps resolve these issues by stiffening
the block where it really matters. There’s
nothing better than a tight bottom end!

Extra degreed bolts on each side of the cap stiffens block
and main webbing for less deflection
